Smoke-free Housing Campaign

The County's Tobacco Free Communities Smoke-free Housing Campaign aims to educate owners, property managers, and tenants in Santa Clara County on the hazards of secondhand smoke and also encourages them to adopt a voluntary smoke-free policy at their multi-unit housing complexes.

On November 9, 2010, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors adopted the Smoking Pollution Control Ordinance, which regulates smoking in multi-unit residences located in the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County.
