This patch was round, with a white twill background, and a green twill boarder. Along the top was "SHERIFF'S POSSE" embroidered in gold, with a gold embroidered seven point star in the middle. Inside the star, was an image of a horse head embroidered in green. Below the star, "SANTA CLARA CO." is embroidered in gold.
