I've been a Deputy Sheriff with the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office since May 1982. During my 15 plus years, I’ve worked Corrections, Detention, Patrol, Traffic and I’m currently a Detective in the Investigations Division.

For the last 6 years, I’ve been the unofficial self-appointed historian for the department. I write the history of the Sheriff’s Office for our Deputy Sheriff’s publication “The Bullet” and more recently I started collecting badges and memorabilia from our office. I also collect some of the older Santa Clara County Marshal and Constable badges that were used here prior to the 1950’s.

These photographs are only a small portion of my collection of badges and memorabilia from Santa Clara County. I hope you enjoy them and if you have any questions or any badges or memorabilia from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office please drop me an E-mail at :DeputyRS@AOL.com
