Sheriff's Office for a number of years. Their sole objective is to
provide equipment and support to help the Sheriff’s Office stay ahead of

SHERIFF'S ADVISORY BOARD of SANTA CLARA
COUNTY (S.A.B.) - was formed in 1980 as a non-profit volunteer
organization for the purpose of supporting local law enforcement. Since
public safety agencies must compete for scarce tax dollars with other
public entities in government, funding is not always available no matter
how necessary or worthy a particular request might be. It is on these
occasions that the Advisory Board renders vital assistance.
The media is encouraged to cover this event.
