The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is looking for new Deputies who can run with responsibility. We're looking for individuals ready to take charge of their lives, and make their community a better place to live.
Deputies are responsible for enforcing the law in the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County, as well as providing police services to the contract cities of Cupertino, Los Altos Hills and Saratoga. Deputies’ work in cooperation with other agencies to coordinate specialized countywide law enforcement task forces, service all bench warrants, and be responsible for the fulfillment of all civil court orders.
Successful applicants will begin an intensive training and educational program that will allow them to achieve their goals in becoming a successful Deputy Sheriff.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is hiring new recruits, as well as lateral Law Enforcement Officers, on an ongoing basis. Written and physical agility testing is conducted every month, and cutoff dates for applications are the first Friday of every month.
