The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s
help in locating Elijah Eely, a nine-year old boy, from San Jose, who
went missing Friday morning after he did not show up at school.
On Friday, September 28, 2007, at approximately 11:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s
Office was notified that Elijah was missing. He was last seen at 8
a.m., by his fifteen-year old brother leaving from his home in the 200
block of Staples Avenue for school, Lynda Vista Elementary School
located at 100 Kirk Ave, San Jose. Elijah usually returns home after
school, but failed to do so that day. Elijah’s family had not seen or
heard from him since that time. Elijah is considered to be “at-risk”
because he has no history of running away or going missing.
Elijah is described as African-American, four-feet tall, about 85
pounds. He was last seen wearing black sweatshirt over a white-collared
shirt, blue jeans and black and white shoes. He was carrying a blue
