The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives have positively identified the corpse of a badly burned body through DNA testing. The Victim: DELANIA CARROLL, 05/17/69, WFA, is described as a transient from San Jose. She was reported missing to SJPD on 05/24/05.

On May 26, 2005, at about 6:45 A.M., Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a doused brush fire on Mt. Hamilton Rd., about 1 mile east of Three Springs Rd., where firefighters had found a badly burned body and called the Sheriff’s Office.
