On June 26 at approximately 6:50 PM, three juveniles/young adults stole a three-foot tall wooden cow from a residence in Los Altos Hills.
Three juveniles/young adults were recorded on the victim’s video surveillance system removing and placing the wooden cow in the back of a tan Honda minivan.
The cow is unaccounted for at this time and Santa Clara County Sheriff Office Investigators are reviewing the videotapes from the theft.
A prior theft of one of the wooden cows occurred in 2005 and more recently on May 15 of this year. The cow from the May 15 theft was located on a soccer field at Hillvew Community Center in Los Altos. Deputies recovered the wooden cow and returned it to its owner.
