Homicide Suspect Caught
January 31, 2006 the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office apprehended
Frank Beech, a suspect in the brutal murder of John Hollman on January
Utilizing FBI assistance the Sheriff's Office was
able to track Beech's cell phone activity to the city of Santa Clara.
Santa Clara Police Department was able to provide a lead on the location
of a house at which Mr. Beech was suspected to be hiding out. Sheriff's
deputies in cooperation the US Marshals Service, Santa Clara PD and
Parole officers, set up surveillance on the residence at 6:30 pm. At
approximately 10:40 pm Mr. Beech returned to the residence.
Sheriff's deputies, in cooperation with the other agencies listed,
conducted a search of the residence. They were able to locate Beech
hiding inside. Beech gave up without incident and was taken into
custody. “This was a very successful multi jurisdiction operation.”

PM, Frank Howard Beech and John Hollman were involved in an argument in
front of a residence on the 100 block of Topeka Avenue. Beech punched
Hollman on the head with his fists and Hollman fell to the ground. Once
Hollman was on the ground, Beech kicked and stomped him several times on
his head with his feet.
