On Thursday, June 3, 2010, the County of Santa Clara Board of Supervisors and the Italian American Heritage Foundation hosted a Flag raising Ceremony to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the Italian republic. Public dignitaries, representatives of the County of Santa Clara, CA USA/Province of Florence, Italy, Sister County Commission and members of the Italian community participated in the event.
