Alzheimer’s Association: A national organization with local chapters that provide supportive programs and services for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and their caregivers.

California Advocates for Nursing Home reform (CANHR): Provides statewide advocacy to improve the choices, care and quality of life for California’s long term care consumers. Has searchable data base of long term care and assisted living facilities.

California Department of Aging (CDA): State of California agency that administers programs that serve older adults, adults with disabilities, family caregivers, and residents in long-term care facilities throughout the State.

California Department of Social Services (CDSS): State of California website for Adult Protective Services.

Council on Aging Silicon Valley: State-designated Area on Aging for the County of Santa Clara. The Council's mission is to improve the lives of older residents and offers many services including employment services.

Family Caregiver Alliance: Provides programs at national, state and local levels to support and address the needs of families and friends providing long-term care at home.

HelpSCC: HelpSCC is a searchable database of health and human service providers in Santa Clara County.

Institute on Aging: Provides services to enable elders to maintain their health, well-being, independence, and participation in the community.

National Center on Elder ​Abuse (NCEA): A national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment.

Senior Adults Legal Assistance:  Provides free legal services and community education to Santa Clara County residents who are age 60 or older. 

Superior Court Website: Provides information about how to access court services, and procedures, find forms, and links to other important resources.​
