Fogging to Suppress West Nile Virus

SAN JOSÉ, CALIF. - The Santa Clara County Vector Control District (SCCVCD) confirmed that ground fogging operations to suppress adult mosquitoes in the 95123 and 95136 (partial) ZIP code areas of the City of San José were completed at 2:11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013. A map of the treated area can be seen below.

Post-fogging mosquito samples will be set on Friday afternoon, and collected on Saturday, July 13, The samples will be tested on the following Monday. If virus is found in the post-treatment samples, additional fogging may be required. If no virus is found, further fogging will not be needed.
