Based on the latest guidance from the County of Santa Clara Public Health Office, Learning Partnership is cancelling all in person trainings effective immediately until further notice.


JUNE 2020 TRAININGS--Online by Zoom

Learning Partnership Online Training Requirement


Training: Milestones of Recovery Scale (MORS)
Date: June 3, 2020
Time: 1 pm – 3:30 pm
Location: Zoom (Web Cam participation is strongly encouraged.)

Training: Bi-Lingual Staff and Interpreters in the Therapeutic Relationship
Date: June 8, 2020
Time: 1 pm – 4:30 pm
Location: Zoom (Web Cam/visual & Audio participation required)
*Can be counted toward cultural competency annual requirement.

Training: Improving Skills in Assessment Using and Understanding the ASAM Criteria
Date: June 15, 2020
Time: 9 am – 4:00 pm
Location: Zoom (Web Cam participation is strongly encouraged.)
*This training is for BHSD clinicians who write assessments.
New integrated clinical assessment in myAvatar includes the use of ASAM criteria.

Training: Writing the Support Letter: Assessing and Planning for Gender Affirming Procedures

This is a free online training. CEUs are also free.  The training will take about 4 hours to complete.
CEUs—As soon as you complete the course, you will receive a basic certificate of completion that documents the name of the course, the date, and the number of hours for the course (4). You are also given instructions to click a follow-up link for people who need continuing education credits. There are 3 different choices depending on what type of license you have since each has different course evaluation requirements. There are 3 link options that will take you to the corresponding course evaluation for:
  1. ​LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, RNs, and certified SUD counselors
  2. Continuing Medical Education for Physicians
  3. Psychologists (APA)
After completing the corresponding course evaluation, you will receive a continuing education certificate by email, with an exception for psychologists who will receive theirs by mail.​
