Substance Use Treatment Programs accept Medi-Cal insurance. If you have Medi-Cal, the insurance will pay for your services.

SUTS participates as a Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) provider for substance abuse services. If a consumer’s primary payor is full scope DMC, this payor will be billed for services rendered.

SUTS is contracted with Valley Health Plan (VHP) for substance abuse services. If a consumer’s primary payor is commercial VHP, this payor will be billed for services rendered.

SUTS is contracted with Kaiser Health Plan (KHP) and Veterans Administration (VA) for Methadone-Only services. If a consumer’s primary payor is one of these two health plans, this payor will be billed for services rendered. Prior authorization is required.

SUTS provides a Sliding-Fee Scale option for unsponsored consumers based on a consumer’s ability to pay.
