No Drone Zone Public Safety Campaign

The No Drone Zone public safety campaign in Santa Clara County urges the public not to fly unmanned aircraft, commonly known as drones, near or over wildfires as they pose serious risks to firefighters and public safety operations. The new Unmanned Aircraft Operation Ordinance (NO. NS-643) seeks to prevent any damage or injury caused by unmanned aircraft that may interfere with emergency response efforts, disrupt custody operations and potentially enable illicit activities at County correctional and juvenile facilities.
