Land Use Proposed Fee Structure Changes For 2019

The Department of Environmental Health is proposing new and modified program fees for a limited number of Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) services/permits. The majority of fees will remain unchanged.  We are adding two new permit categories, and modifying an existing fee to allow more flexibility for the permittee, and to more accurately recover program costs. The changes would be effective by the end of 2019.

NEW PROGRAM FEE CATEGORIES
1. OWTS Alternative System Repair Permit >50% of System - Creates specific category for an OWTS Alternative System repair permit where repairs of greater than 50% of the OWTS occur.
2. Site Assessment and Soil Profile-Same DayAllows homeowner/consultant a lower fee for site assessment and soil profile if performed at the same visit.

UPDATED PROGRAM FEE CATEGORIES
1. OWTS Alternative System Repair Permit <50% of System - Change in description of permit where repairs to less than 50% of the OWTS occur.
