COUNTY SUPERVISORS TO CONSIDER STANFORD GENERAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION

What:

The Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold four meetings to consider Stanford University’s application for a General Use Permit (GUP). The University has requested 3.5 million square feet of academic facilities and student housing plus 550 units of faculty/staff housing. County staff and the County Planning Commission are recommending approval of all 3.5 million square feet of development, subject to various Conditions of Approval (COAs) to ensure full mitigation of potential adverse impacts.

The first meeting on September 24th will be a workshop; the following three meetings will be hearings.
