THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S "JUSTICE FOR ALL" AWARD
PROMOTING TOLERANCE IN OUR COMMUNITY – STAND UP TO HATE
POSTER CONTEST RULES

The District Attorney's Office is asking all Santa Clara County high schools to submit between one to three student submissions that include an original hashtag accompanied with a visual image that illustrates our community’s efforts to fight prejudice in all forms and promote tolerance. All art mediums are welcome: paint, pencil, charcoal, photography, etc. 
High Schools are invited to submit their entries by Friday, April 20, 2018. Winners will be  announced on Friday, May 4, 2018 on the DA’s website, Facebook, and Twitter page. Posters submitted will be posted on the DA’s website.
The District Attorney’s Office will use the winning high school’s submission in a campaign, create a flag for the school emblazoned with the hashtag, and hold a taco truck lunch party for the participating artists at the school with District Attorney Jeff Rosen.
Contest Information and Rules:
  • One to three submissions submitted per high school;
  • Must include the student’s name and email address on the back of the artwork or listed in the email if submitted via email;
  • Submissions must be 24 x 36 or 22 x 28 and incorporate the theme of promoting tolerance in our community;
  • The student artist must currently reside in Santa Clara County and be actively enrolled in a Santa Clara County high school;
  • The work must be original and the sole work product of the student artist;
  • No use of copyright or trademarked images;
  • Winner must complete a provided Authorization for Use of Image JFA 2018 Award form;
  • Entries must be submitted or postmarked by April 20, 2018; and
  • Family members of employees of the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office are excluded from participation.
