Evacuation Ordered for Two Santa Clara County Social Services Agency Sites

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF. Due to flooding at Coyote Creek, the San Jose Police Department ordered the evacuation of more than 300 Santa Clara County Social Services Agency employees working at offices providing public assistance services at Senter Road, nearby Needles Drive.
Impacted facilities are: 
In-Home Supportive Services
1888 Senter Rd, San Jose, CA 95112
CalWORKs Continuing Benefits
1870 Senter Rd, San Jose, CA 95112
These Social Services locations provide assistance that includes CalWORKs benefits and in Home Supportive Services (IHSS).  Service to the public is not currently available at these sites.
Employees are in the process of being relocated to alternative facilities.
The County will provide an update when operations to the public can resume at these sites.
