Are you interested in soaring through the air with your model aircraft? Santa Clara County Parks offers two model airfields. One airfield is operated by the Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark (SCCMAS) and is located at Coyote Creek Parkway. The second location is at Rancho San Antonio County Park under the supervision of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space.
The SCCMAS, a facility of the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department, and its 300+ members continue to pave the way as one of the premiere flying sites in the nation. This airfield is open to club members ONLY. Visit their website for membership, rules & regulations, and further information: SCCMAS
Rancho San Antonio County Park provides non-gas powered model airplane enthusiasts a staging area adjacent to the parking lots near the park entrance for take-offs and landings and fly their aircraft above the South Meadow area.
