Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention Program

The Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention Program focuses on preventing the spread of hepatitis B virus from infected mothers to newborn infants. The success of perinatal hepatitis B transmission prevention requires the collaboration and coordination between the public health department, the laboratories, the prenatal care providers, the delivery hospitals, the infant care providers, and the infected mothers.
