Birth and Death Registration
All births and deaths in Santa Clara County are registered here. We do not sell birth or death certificates, which must be purchased from a different County agency: the Clerk-Recorder's Office.

Public Health Pharmacies
Better Health Pharmacy offers donated medications that are unopened and unexpired to patients at no cost. Other public health pharmacies fill patients' prescriptions and bill patients' insurance, supporting TB treatment and other care.

STD and HIV Testing and Support
The Public Health Department offers free HIV and Hepatitis C testing in addition to low-cost STD screening, clinical evaluations for STDs, and treatment for STDs (including PrEP and PEP).

A Supplemental Nutrition Program, which provides food and support breastfeeding for low-income pregnant or breastfeeding women, and their infants and children up to age 5.
