Quitting Tobacco

Quitting tobacco is one of the most important things you can do to protect your health and the health of your loved ones. Below are programs that offer FREE and friendly advice on ways to quit smoking/vaping. Quitting services are available in multiple languages and include outreach, referral, one-one counseli​​​ng, phone counseling, group counseling, nicotine replacement therapy, educational materials and follow-up services. ​

California Smokers' Helpline

The California Smokers' Helpline is a free telephone service program proven to help you quit smoking. For free services in your language, find the number below:

        Smokefree TXT - Quitting on you phone

         Smokefree TXT is a mobile service designed for young adults across the United States created to provide 24/7 encouragement, advice, and tips to help smokers stop smoking for good. To sign-up, visit the website​ or text the word QUIT to IQUIT (47848) from your mobile phone, answer a few questions, and you'll start receiving message.
