Connecting with Others is a key to building a stronger and safer community for our children
Group Sessions 
BIH provides 10 prenatal and 10 post-partum group sessions designed to empower and support participants. Sessions are offered in a culturally affirming  setting that respects participant values and beliefs. Participants  interact with other mothers and women who are pregnant. The sessions offer engaging activities from a women’s health perspective that explore pregnancy and parenting which honors the unique history of African American women. 
 
Our services wouldn't be complete without offering our partners, the fathers   group gatherings also, called 24/7 Dad Workshopsthe curriculum is an evidenced based practice which explores the roles of the father within the family.
