Services Available

Travel Immunizations for Adults

We offer immigration immunizations. Please visit the civil surgeon to get the list of immunizations that you need before visiting our clinic.

If you are planning a trip, you need to protect yourself against diseases that are more common in the country or city you are visiting. It is advisable to start travel immunizations at least 4 to 6 weeks before traveling.

To get the best protection against illness, bring your travel destinations and immunization records to your visit. The recommended vaccines will depend on your location of travel and which vaccines you have received in the past.

Travel Immunizations for Children

Prior to visiting the travel clinic, children should be seen by their primary medical doctor to ensure the child is up to date on their childhood immunizations. Our travel clinic does not provide routine childhood immunizations or TB skin tests for children, but we do provide immunizations needed for travel, such as typhoid vaccine.

For minor children under the age of 18, you will need to present a Birth Certificate or Proof of Guardianship prior to receiving travel vaccines.

What To Expect During Your Visit

Please plan for at least a 45-minute visit with the nurse. You will be asked to complete registration forms. The nurse will evaluate your medical history, review your immunization records and travel itinerary, and discuss the required and recommended vaccines for your trip.

The clinic provides services in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Blood titers to check for immunity are not offered at our clinic.

We do not perform TB blood tests or chest x-rays. If you have a prior documented positive TB test, we will not perform another TB skin test.
