Vendor Registration

The County uses solicitation management systems, Ariba and Periscope S2G,  Supplier-to- Government, formely known as BidSync, to allow vendors to self-register for notifications of solicitations.
Why register?​

As a registered vendor, you will become part of the County’s vendor database for future solicitations resulting in one-time or contract opportunities.​​​
Do I have to register in two systems?​

Yes, the County encourages vendors to register in both systems, Ariba and Periscope S2G, to be notified of all bidding opportunities as the County currently issues solicitations in both systems.​​​
Are there any fees?

No. Both solicitation management systems allow vendors, at no charge, to register and participate in bidding opportunities within the County.​
How much time is needed to register?​

Online registration can be completed within 15 minutes​ in each system.​
How does my organization become aware of opportunities?​

To help your organization stay connected to the County now and in the future, the County strongly encourages organizations register and actively maintain their company profiles in two key areas: users and commodity codes.

Users are individuals with granted access rights who represent their organization within the two solicitation management systems where the County solicits bids and proposals. Commodity codes are classification codes used to identify products or services offered by the respective registered organizations.

Adding additional users with a specific role of responding to solicitations helps your organization direct communications to the correct individual. Selecting commodity or classification codes helps the County identify the vendors who supply and provide goods and services that can meet the County’s needs.

Aside from updating your organization’s company profile, consider signing-up for the newsletters and business opportunities digests emailed by the Procurement Department. The sign-up form is available on the homepage, www.sccprc.org.​​
