The Sepsis Committee at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA is presenting a sepsis seminar, featuring national sepsis experts on September 12, 2013. The seminar, entitled "Take the Shock Out of Sepsis," takes place from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, at the Holiday Inn San Jose Airport.
This program will explore recent improvements in the understanding and treatment of sepsis, with an emphasis on early identification, evidence-based interventions, and implementation of protocols within the hospital. It is designed to provide participants with knowledge and experience that will promote the development of clinical competency in the care of septic patients.
The $150 registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, parking, all course materials and 7 contact hours.
This class is open to all staff and facilities in the Bay Area.
Continuing Education Units (CEU) are approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (provider #8481), and the Continuing Medical Education (CME) application is currently in progress.
Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis and only by U.S. mail or in person. No fax or email registrations will be accepted.
