Department of Aging and Adult Services

The Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) promotes an Age-friendly community for all residents of Santa Clara County. DAAS strives to ensure a safe and independent lifestyle for older adults, dependent adults, and the disabled.

Santa Clara County and all its cities have been designated as Age-friendly by the World Health Organization; the first county in the nation to do so. DAAS continually works toward expanding and supporting Age-friendly initiatives throughout the region.
